Marbach State Stud is host and venue to a number of events around horse breeding and sports every year. There is something for everybody, no matter if breeder, rider or simply heritage fans – old or young, for example: The International Eventing in May, the Marbach Classics in July, the big Stud Show in autumn, the Stallion Presentation, the Stud’s Auction, the Dressage Tournament and many more.

The historic facilities, including all stud farms and the main stud attract around 500,000 visitors per year who enjoy a variety of attractions, such as the big stud shows, guided tours around the stud or simply the opportunity to watch the mares and foals on the pastures and take a walk in the beautiful scenery of the “Schwäbische Alb” biosphere.

The government has invested into the stud and created a visitors information centre, a stud’s souvenirs shop and even facilities for corporate seminars in the stunning historic buildings.
